Who can participate in this award?
Architecture Affiliate Awards 2021 is open to students and non-students of all nationalities above 18 years of age. There is no restriction on prior qualification.
Can I submit more than one entry?
Yes, you may submit as many drawings as you like, however you will have to register for each entry individually.
What is the submission criteria?
Your submission must include one main drawing/render in JPEG format along with a brief description of the model in less than 250 words in .doc format.
What kind of drawings are acceptable?
For render category: Any hyper-realistic renders, exterior, interior render, perspective, plan, section, exploded views, etc.
For drawing category: Any abstract digital drawing, sketch, perspective,fictional visualization,
plan, section, exploded views, etc.
Is there a specific sheet size to be followed?
There is no restriction on sheet size, but ensure a minimum width of 2000 pixels. Both landscape and portrait orientations are acceptable. However if you are creating a new drawing from scratch we suggest an aspect ratio of 1:1 to be suitable for publication across various platforms.
What software is acceptable?
There is no restriction on software.
What languages are allowed?
All text must be in ENGLISH only.
What is the registration process?
You may register directly on our website. Please note that you will be redirected to the payment portal at the end of the form, your registration will be accepted once the payment is complete. Payment for Indian participants is via Razorpay and for International participants is via PayPal.
Are team entries allowed?
Yes you may take part as a team of up to 3 people.
When is the deadline to submit my work?
You may submit your entry as and when you are ready to submit. Submissions are accepted till 5th May 2021, 11:59pm IST (Indian Standard Time).
What type of file is acceptable?
Your submission must include one main drawing/render along with a word document containing a brief description of the drawing/render in less than 250 words.
When will I receive my ‘Participant Code’ ?
Once you have completed the registration, you will receive your unique participant code via email within 12 hours.
How do I win the Renaissance Architect Prize?
Participant must excel in more than a single award category. The most victorious participant wins the Renaissance Architect Prize.
What is the eligibility to participate in the Renaissance Architect Prize?
Any participant competing in more than one category will be automatically considered for this award.
If I submit multiple entries, How many of my projects can win an award?
You will stand a chance of winning more than one award, in the event that your entry is worthy of that category. In this case you will also have better chances of winning the Renaissance Architect prize.
When and how will I receive prize money?
Details regarding prize money will be communicated to the winners via email. Mode of payment for international participants is via PayPal only. Mode of payment for national participants is via RazorPay/ PayU
